To activate an evaluation edition install with a product key, you will need to use the following PowerShell command.

Launch Powershell
Click Start or hit the Start button on your keyboard, type PowerShell, and then right click Windows PowerShell and click Run as administrator.

Enter command
Enter the following command, changing the set-edition to either ServerEssentials, ServerStandard or ServerDatacenter depending on the edition you are activating, and changing the ProductKey section with your 25 character product key.
DISM /Online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx /AcceptEula -
Restart
The required changes will be made and it will ask if you wish to restart now, hit Y on your keyboard for yes.

Check edition
Once restarted, you can run PowerShell again with the following command to check your current edition.
DISM /Online /Get-CurrentEdition
Upgrading from an already installed edition of Windows 10/11 Home to Windows 10/11 Pro is incredibly simple using a Windows upgrade key.

Open Activation Window
Select Start > Settings > System > Activation.

Enter Your Key
Select Change product key, paste or type your 25-character Windows Pro upgrade key.

Confirm
Select Next to complete the upgrade.

Unless you have a specific key, you should choose the standard “Windows 8.1” edition in the dropdown menu.
Microsoft has removed the official Windows 7 download links from their website, meaning there are now only un-official download links available on the web.

In the Windows Search Bar type in “Activation settings” and hit enter. This will load the activation window showing which Windows 11 Edition you have installed and its activation status.
Under the “Change product key” row, click the “Change” button.
A window will open asking you to “Enter a product key“, type or paste in your 25-character Windows 11 key and click “Next“.
Back on the Activation window, your Windows Edition and activation status will update to reflect.

Troubleshooting errors
Windows can present an error during activation for many different reasons, please run through the troubleshooting steps.
Sometimes our emails do not reach your inbox, first please check your spam/junk, alternatively you can follow the steps below to view your key(s).
- Go to the Orders page of your Vevo Digital account.
(If you are asked to log in, use the same login you created at checkout). - Your key(s) will be shown on your order page, about half way.
(If the order status is “processing” we are working on completing your order). - There will also be a relevant activation guide or download link button on your order page.
How to download, install, and activate Visual Studio 2022.

Download the installer
Head to https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/
Click the Free Trial button under the edition you wish to download, Professional or Enterprise.

Run the installer
Run the downloaded .exe installer package named “VisualStudioSetup”.
Go through the onscreen installation process to install the workloads, components, language packs of your choice, and select the installation location.

Open activation window
Once installed, click the Help menu dropdown, then click Register Visual Studio.

Activate with a key
Click Unlock with a Product Key then enter the 25-character product key and click Apply.
Your Visual Studio 2022 software is now fully activated and ready to use.
Microsoft appears to have removed the download for older versions of Visual Studio from their website, so we have to rely on third parties hosting the .exe installer. Here is an example hosted by TechSpot.

Windows can show an activation error for a variety of reasons, we include some of the most common error codes below, plus some general troubleshooting steps for you to run through.

(0xC004F050) error code
This is the most common error code we get asked about and it means the key cannot activate the edition of Windows you have installed as they do not match.
Solutions:
– If you purchased an OEM key, you should perform a fresh Windows installation (guides below) and the key will be accepted during install.
– If you are trying to do an upgrade from Home to Pro and do not want to perform a fresh install, you can purchase a Windows upgrade key.Windows installation guides:

Internet connection & system time
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet and that the system date and time are set correctly for your timezone.
If you have no internet connection, you will see the icon shown above and you must restore your internet connection.

Activation troubleshooter
Run the Windows Activation Troubleshooter which will attempt to automatically resolve any issues.

Windows update
Check Windows Update for any outstanding updates, and download and install any outstanding updates.

Restart your PC
Restart your PC and retry the activation.

Try a phone activation by clicking the Activate by Phone link on the activation page (if the option is shown).

Launch Steam client
Launch the Steam client and log in to your Steam account.

Faulty Keys
We provide a 30-day guarantee from the time of delivery to report a faulty key, you can do this via our contact page.
Upon receiving the report we will investigate and provide troubleshooting steps, this may require some additional details being requested.
If the fault cannot be resolved through reasonable troubleshooting, we will provide a replacement key or a full refund.
Unused Keys
An unused key can be returned up to 30 days from the time of delivery by submitting a cancellation request, you can do this via our contact page.
If a key has been used, meaning the single-use key has been redeemed, it cannot be returned as we are unable to resell the key.
Returning an unused key is subject to a minimal cancellation charge of 3.4% + $0.30 (USD) deducted from the total refund to cover our incurred processing costs.
Refund Process
Refunds will be issued within 24 hours of us agreeing to do so, you will receive an email confirming the refund from us, and Stripe.
Refunds can only be made back to the original payment method.
A refund can take up to 10 days to reflect on your card/bank statement, this is beyond our control.

Step 1: On a web browser, Sign in to your PlayStation Network

What type of keys do you supply?
When it comes to purchasing software keys, it’s important to know what you’re getting and from whom. Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous vendors out there who sell Microsoft developer network (MSDN) keys that aren’t meant for resale and will ultimately get deactivated by Microsoft. Additionally, some sellers split multiple access keys (MAK) between numerous customers instead of using them as intended for a single organization, which will also result in deactivation. Finally, some vendors provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) keys without disclosing the restrictions that come with them.
At Vevo Digital, we take a different approach. We never sell MSDN keys, we don’t split MAK keys, and we always identify our OEM products and their associated restrictions clearly on the product pages. While our prices may be somewhat higher than some of our competitors, we believe in providing our customers with legitimate, fully functional software keys that won’t cause any issues down the line.
We provide three types of keys, which are always clearly indicated on the product page.
- Retail – These keys are meant for retail distribution and can be used by any consumer.
- OEM – If you’re building a new computer system, you may be classified as an “original equipment manufacturer” and can use these keys. However, there are certain limitations associated with these keys, which are clearly shown on the product page.
- MAK – These keys are intended for organizations to perform multiple activations on their internal computer systems. Each MAK key has a fixed number of activations and will never be split or shared.
How can I be sure your keys are genuine?

- All keys will pass Microsoft activation servers to confirm their validity and legitimacy.

Uninstall existing Office suites
Before installing your new Office suite you should uninstall any old Office suites on your computer. Old Office installs are known to cause conflicts with a new installation, Office 365 in particular will attempt to override your new install.

Double-click on the Office installer that was downloaded to your computer (most likely in your downloads folder) and follow the on-screen instructions.

Your installation is complete when you see the message “You’re all set! Office is installed now”.

This only applies to Office 2016 Suites or older.
Upon opening an Office App for the first time you will be asked to activate your product with the Office Activation Wizard.
Select “I want to activate the software over the Internet”, and then select Next. Follow the prompts to complete the activation.
If the internet activation fails, try the “I want to activate the software by telephone” and then select next. Follow the prompts to complete the activation.
