Activating & Installing Microsoft Office 2016

Activating Office:

Step 1

Go to Office.com/setup, sign in using your existing Microsoft account, or create a new one.

Shows the buttons for signing in or creating a new account.
Step 2

Enter your 25 character product key, select your country or region, and select your language.

Step 3

Select Next to finish the redemption process. Now you’re ready to download and install Office.

Installing Office:

Step 1

Go to the Microsoft Services & subscriptions page and sign in using your Microsoft account if you’re not signed in already. This is where you can see and manage all of your activated Office products linked to your Microsoft account, if you need to re-install a program in the future you can do so from this page at any time.

Step 2

Click the Install link next to the Office product you wish to download and install.

Step 3

Select the options you want with the “Other options” link (such as 64-bit and language changes), and then click Install. This will download the setup file to your computer which you can then open for the installation process to take place.
