Office Professional Plus 2024 LTSC Activation Guide

Use this activation guide to redeem your Office Professional Plus 2024 LTSC key.

  1. Download

    32-bit English download.
    64-bit English download (recommended).

  2. Install

    Open the download, locate and run the included ‘Click To Run.bat’ file.
    The installer will run and install the included Office apps.

  3. Open Office App

    Open any one of the installed Office apps, an end user license agreement will display, click ‘Accept’.

  4. Activate

    In the left column click the ‘Account’ tab.
    On the right you will see a yellow box warning ‘Activation Required’. In this box click ‘Change Product Key’.
    A window will open for you to enter the product key provided on your order page, copy and paste the key and click ‘Activate Office’.

  5. Restart

    You will see a message saying ‘Office has been updated’ and asking you to restart any open Office apps.

  6. Confirm

    You can return to the ‘Account’ tab where it will now show as ‘Product Activated’.

  7. Office 2024 Shows As Older Office Version

    After installing Microsoft Office 2024, some users may find that it incorrectly shows as an older Office version, such as Office 2021, click here to learn how to fix this.
