Windows 11 Activation Guide

Use this activation guide to download & install Windows 11 and activate your Windows 11 key.

  1. Download & Install Windows 11

    Download and install Windows 11 directly from Microsoft from the Download Windows 11 page.
    There are 3 options for installing or creating Windows 11 media, pick the one that’s best suited to you and follow the instructions provided by Microsoft.

  2. Activation

    During installation, you’ll be prompted to enter a product key.

    Or, if Windows 11 is already installed, to enter the product key:
    Navigate to Start > Settings > System > Activation.
    Click Change, then enter your Windows 11 product key.

    A product key is a 25-character code, that looks like this:
    PRODUCT KEY: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

  3. Confirm

    Click Next to activate with the product key.
