This is what to do if you see the “This code has already been redeemed” error message.

This code has already been redeemed

Sometimes the Microsoft redemption page glitches during redemption and wrongly states the key has already been redeemed.

Sign out of your Microsoft account, go to services & subscriptions, log back in to your Microsoft account, see if the software now shows up under your services & subscriptions.

If it still does not show up after doing this, please contact us and state you have tried these steps already so we do not ask you to repeat them.

“You are not logged in. Please login before redeeming a token” Microsoft Error Message

This is what to do if you see the “You are not logged in. Please login before redeeming a token” error message on the Microsoft redemption page.

Try Private/Incognito

The most common issue is a caching/cookie problem that causes the Microsoft website to show this error message. To negate this you can open a private/incognito browsing session in your web browser, log in to your Microsoft account again, and re-attempt the redemption.

You can easily open a private/incognito browsing session by using the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Chrome Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n
  • Chrome Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n
  • Safari: Press Shift + Command + n
  • Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + p

Different Browser

Sometimes the easiest option is to try a different web browser entirely. Open a different web browser then login to your Microsoft account again, and re-attempt the redemption.

Limitations and Restrictions

Some codes have regional restrictions. You cannot use a code that doesn’t belong to your region.
A code can only be claimed once & once claimed, cannot be sold, traded, gifted, etc.
Some codes must be activated by the cashier before they work. For example, Blizzard Balance was purchased in a shop.
Some codes must be claimed before their expiration date. For example, promotional codes.
Item or pet codes distributed before BlizzCon 2009 and all World of Warcraft Trading Card Game item codes must be redeemed through the World of Warcraft Promotion Code Retrieval page.

Call Of Duty Beta Activation Guide

To redeem your Microsoft Store CD key, follow this Microsoft Store activation guide.

  1. Open the Microsoft Store app

    Load the Microsoft Store app, and make sure you’re signed in to the Microsoft account you wish to link the product to.

    Click the three dots in the top right corner to open a drop-down menu, then click “Redeem a code”.

  2. Enter your code

  3. Confirm product

    You will be shown the product you’re going to get by redeeming the code. Upon clicking “Confirm”.

    The product is permanently linked to your Microsoft account and there are no refunds past this point.

  4. Install

    The product is now linked to your account and you’re ready to download and install. Click the three dots again, and in the drop-down menu click “My Library”
    In the left-hand column, click “Ready to install”, your redeemed product will be listed here, with an “Install” link to click. 

    If you have a trial/demo version of a product already installed, you must uninstall that first. Otherwise, it can cause an error saying you still only have a trial/demo version, despite redeeming a code for the full product.

My Card Was Declined At Checkout

My Card Was Declined At Checkout

The most common decline reason a card is declined at checkout is the ZIP/postal code not matching the details your card issuer has on file. Make sure the billing details entered at checkout match those your card issuer has on file to avoid this.

You may be asked to authorize the transaction with your card issuer via an on-screen prompt, known as 3-D Secure. This is usually completed via an in-app approval or as an SMS text sent from your card issuer.

If you are certain the billing details are correct, you may need to reach out to your card issuer to authorize the payment.

If you are using a VPN please disconnect while making the payment, certain VPN IP addresses may be blocked due to prior fraud from other malicious users of the VPN.

Pending Charge On My Card

If your card is declined at checkout, you may see a pending ‘pre-authorization’ charge on your card statement, this will automatically be removed usually within 24-48 hours, as no successful charge was made.

    Sign in to your existing Microsoft account, or create a new one (needs to be a personal Microsoft account, not an organization account).

  2. Enter your code

    Go to account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem

    Paste your 25-character product key into the box, make sure the account the product key will be added to is correct, and click next.

    If you see an error saying “This code has already been redeemed“, skip to step 4 of this guide.
    If you see an error saying “You are not logged in. Please login before redeeming a token“, click here for a guide to resolve.

  3. Confirm and redeem

    Here is what you get

    Confirm the product is correct, click confirm.

    *There are no refunds after clicking confirm, this is due to the key being consumed and the license being permanently tied to your Microsoft account.

  4. Download Office

    Services & subscriptions

    Go to the services & subscriptions page of your Microsoft account, you will see your redeemed software listed, along with the date it was added to your Microsoft account.

    Click the install link on the right-hand side to download the software.

  5. Customize the download

    Download office

    Choose the language and version you wish to install then click the install button to download.

  6. Uninstall existing Office suites

    Before installing your new Office suite you should fully uninstall any old Office suites on your computer. Old Office installs are known to cause conflicts with a new installation, Office 365 in particular will attempt to override your new install.

  7. Install Office

    Double-click on the Office installer that was downloaded to your computer (most likely in your downloads folder) and follow the on-screen instructions.

  8. Install complete

    Upon opening an Office App for the first time you will be asked to sign in to your Microsoft account, and sign in to the same account you used in step 1 of this guide, as that is the account the license is tied to.

Origin Activation Guide

To redeem your Origin CD key, follow this Origin activation guide.

  1. Origin client & Origin account

    You will require an Origin account and the game client, the Origin game client can be downloaded here: https://www.origin.com/nld/en-us/store/download
    You can create an account here if you do not already have one by clicking Register in the lower left-hand corner here: https://www.origin.com/

  2. Launch Origin client

    Open the Origin game client and click the Origin menu in the top left.

  3. Redeem code

    Select “Redeem Product Code” then enter your serial code.

  4. Redeemed

    The game will be added to your “My Games” section of Origin ready to be installed.

What type of keys do you supply?

When it comes to purchasing software keys, it’s important to know what you’re getting and from whom. Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous vendors out there who sell Microsoft developer network (MSDN) keys that aren’t meant for resale and will ultimately get deactivated by Microsoft. Additionally, some sellers split multiple access keys (MAK) between numerous customers instead of using them as intended for a single organization, which will also result in deactivation. Finally, some vendors provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) keys without disclosing the restrictions that come with them.

At Vevo Digital, we take a different approach. We never sell MSDN keys, we don’t split MAK keys, and we always identify our OEM products and their associated restrictions clearly on the product pages. While our prices may be somewhat higher than some of our competitors, we believe in providing our customers with legitimate, fully functional software keys that won’t cause any issues down the line.

We provide three types of keys, which are always clearly indicated on the product page.

To redeem your PSN CD key, follow this PSN activation guide.

Online

Step 1: On a web browser, Sign in to your PlayStation Network
Step 2: In the Account section on the left, select Redeem Codes
Step 3: Enter your 12-digit voucher code or prepaid PlayStation card number, and select Next

Console

Step 1: From the PlayStation Menu, go to the PlayStation Store.
Step 2: Select Redeem Codes on the left-hand side menu
Step 3: Enter the code and select Continue
Step 4: The content will be automatically applied to your account, available for immediate download, or available in your Library > Purchased section

Returns & Refunds Policy

Faulty Keys

We provide a 30-day guarantee from the time of delivery to report an issue activating a product, you can do this via our contact page.

Upon receiving the report, we will investigate and provide troubleshooting steps, this may require some additional details being requested.

If the fault cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, we will provide a replacement key or a full refund.

Unused Keys

An unused key can be returned up to 30 days from the time of delivery by submitting a cancellation request, you can do this via our contact page.

If a key has been used, meaning the key has been redeemed/activated, it cannot be returned.

Returning an unused key is subject to a minimal cancellation charge of 3.4% + $0.30 (USD) deducted from the total refund to cover our incurred processing costs.

Refund Process

Refunds will be issued within 24 hours of us agreeing to do so, you will receive an email confirming the refund from us and Stripe.

Refunds can only be made back to the original payment method.

A refund can take up to 10 days to reflect on your card/bank statement, this is beyond our control.

To redeem your Steam CD key, follow this Steam activation guide.

  1. Steam client & Steam account

    You will require a Steam account and the game client, the Steam game client can be downloaded here: https://store.steampowered.com/about/

  2. Launch Steam client

    Launch the Steam client and log in to your Steam account.

  3. Redeem code

    Click the games drop-down menu in the top left then choose “activate a product on Steam”

  4. Redeemed

    Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process and add the game to your Steam library.

Troubleshoot Windows Activation Errors

If you’re having trouble activating Windows, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve Windows activation errors.

  1. (0xC004C008) error code

    If you see this error code please contact us, mention you are getting error code 0xC004C008 in your message so we know what needs fixing.

  2. (0xC004F050) error code

    This error code means the key does not match or is incompatible with the edition of Windows already installed.

    For OEM keys:
    You will see this error code if you are trying to upgrade from Home to Pro, or if you are trying to use a Home key on a Pro or higher install.
    (OEM keys do not support upgrades and are to be used during a fresh Windows install by a system builder).

    For retail keys:
    You will see this error code if you are trying to use a Home key on a Pro or higher install. Also if you have an alternative edition installed, such as Home N, a standard Home key will not activate this alternative edition.

    Solutions:
    The main solution to this error code is to perform a fresh Windows install, guides below.
    Alternatively, use a different key that matches the already installed edition.
